Defence-focused drones maker Zuppa raises Rs.5-Cr
Chennai-based Zuppa , a deep-tech firm specializing in cyber-secure drones and advanced autopilot systems has raised INR 5 crore in a funding round led by Sangam Talks founder Rahul Devan. The investment is part of a larger bridge round of INR 10 crore.The new funds will be used to expand its channel partner network and enhance the availability of its DJI-equivalent Ajeet Series of Drones which was recently validated by the Indian Army at multiple locations - including high-altitude zones above 11,000 feet.Founded in 2005 by Venkatesh Sai, Zuppa manufactures drones and autopilot systems for commercial and defense sectors.
