Dental beauty market player Salt Oral Care raises funding
Mumbai-headquartered Salt Oral Care , a player in India's luxury oral beauty market, has raised seed funding in a round led by a group of dentists. The round also saw participation from Kunal Chedda, a US-based investor who works with Amazon Prime. Other investors include Dr. Nisha Sancheti and Dr. Viraj Doshi. The investment round values the company at INR 20 crore.The company plans to use the new capital to fuel its expansion in North America, enhance brand awareness, increase the number of SKUs (stock keeping units) and build a team to support its expansion plans.Salt Oral Care is a brand of Manor Rama Care Pvt. Ltd. Their products are claimed to be eco-friendly, toxin-free, gluten-free, and 100% vegan.
In Sep 2023, Salt Oral Care had raised a pre-seed round of funding at a valuation of INR 18 crore from angel investors including Dr Viraj Doshi.
