Bengaluru-based venture capital firm DeVC has invested in two Y Combinator-backed startups: New York (USA)-based access control and authorisation platform Alter AI and San Francisco, CA (USA)-based AI-powered classroom assistant Frizzle .Founded in 2025 by Srikar Dandanuraju and Kevan Dodhia, Alter AI is a zero-trust identity and access control platform designed for AI agents. It enables them to make fast and secure AI developments while complying with standard frameworks.Founded in 2025 by Abhay Gupta and Shyam Sai, Frizzle automates tasks like grading and providing personalised feedback, particularly for maths assignments.
