Digital lender Fibe raises $35-M from IFC

Pune-based digital lending startup Fibe has raised USD 35 million (about INR 314 Cr) from International Finance Corporation (IFC) as part of its Series F round.Founded in 2015 by Akshay Mehrotra and Ashish Goyal, Fibe offers short-term and long-term loans ranging from INR 5,000 to INR 5 Lakh to the salaried class. Its offerings include personal loans, loans against mutual funds, medical loans, education loans, solar loans, and instant salary advances.The fresh funds will be used to accelerate product innovation and build a unified platform for lending, saving, investing, and payments.

Between May 2017 and Aug 2025, Fibe had attracted about USD 242 M from Amara Partners, Chiratae Ventures, Eight Roads Ventures, Norwest, TPG Growth, TR Capital, Trifecta Capital, and others
