Gurugram-based fintech axiTrust has raised INR 23.5 crore (USD 2.6 million) in a seed round led by General Catalyst with participation from Atrium Angels, YAN Network, Supermorpheous, and others.Founded in 2024 by Aditya Tulsian (CEO), Rajeev Chari (COO), and Mukund Daga (CRO), axiTrust issues, underwrites, and manages digital surety bonds, which offer an alternative to traditional, collateral-heavy bank guarantees.The company intends to use the capital to develop comprehensive digital infrastructure that will accelerate the adoption of surety bonds across India’s banking, insurance, and procurement sectors.
