DP World acquires 14% stake in “water from air” startup Maithri Aquatech

Dubai-based DP World has acquired a 14% equity stake in Hyderabad-based Maithri Aquatech .Founded in Ramkrishna Mukkavilli, Pawan Borle. Maithri Aquatech specializes in atmospheric water generation (AWG) technology, which extracts clean, potable water from ambient air. It intends to use the partnership to access the infrastructure, expertise, and strategic network of DP World to support its international expansion.
For FY25, Maithri Aquatech had reported about INR 14 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 0.49 Cr in PAT.
