Drone logistics startup Airbound raises $37-M led by Greenoaks
Bengaluru-based aerospace startup Airbound has raised USD 37 million in a Series A round led by Greenoaks, with participation from Lightspeed Ventures, DoorDash, Lachy Groom and Humba Ventures.Founded in 2023 by Naman Pushp, Airbound develops lightweight autonomous aircraft for drone-based deliveries, using a blended-wing-body, tail-sitter design that combines vertical take-off with fixed-wing flight efficiency. The firm’s drones are being used for healthcare deliveries and are designed for retail, e-commerce and logistics applications.The startup plans to use the capital to accelerate engineering, commercial-scale manufacturing, and go-to-market efforts as it transitions from technology demonstration to building infrastructure for larger-scale operations.
Between Nov 2024 and Oct 2025, Airbound had attracted about USD 10 M from Lightspeed Ventures, and others.
