E-commerce marketplace for cars Droom bags $3-M led by India Accelerator, Finvolve
Gurugram-based automobile e-commerce platform Droom has raised USD 3 million (around INR 24.75 crore) in a funding round co-led by India Accelerator and Finvolve. The round also saw participation from angel investors including Rayzon Solar founder Hardik Kothiya.The new funds will be used to bolster the firm’s tech infrastructure, accelerate customer acquisition and expand footprint across India. The investment will also expedite its decision to refile its initial public offering (IPO) papers in the ongoing calendar year.Founded in 2014 by Sandeep Aggarwal, Droom operates an online platform for buying and selling new and used vehicles. It also offers car financing, software solutions, advertising, and car rental services.
Between Oct 2014 and Mar 2025, Droom had attracted about USD 319 M from Axis Capital Partners, Beenos Partners, Lightbox, Digital Garage, Beenext, Integrated Capital, Toyota Tsusho, Joe Hirao, 57 Stars, SevenTrainVentures, India Accelerator and others.
