E-mobility startup Motovolt acquires stake in Germany's eROCKIT for EUR 1-M
Kolkata-based e-mobility startup Motovolt has invested a million euros (INR 9 crore) in German electric vehicle startup, eROCKIT. The initial investment is aimed at strengthening the product development and production of eROCKIT's premium models at the firm's manufacturing site in Berlin, Germany. In November 2022, Motovolt had raised INR 16 crore in a pre-Series A funding round for new product introduction, marketing initiatives and expanding its presence in India. eROCKIT is a maker of light electric motorcycle that operates like a bicycle.
