E-scooter maker Simple Energy to raise funds
Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler maker Simple Energy is planning a large fundraise. The company aims to increase its capital to enhance production capacity and strengthen its supply chain.Founded by Suhas Rajkumar, the company manufactures electric two-wheelers. The firm intends to use the new funds to expand factory operations and support its suppliers, with the goal of increasing production capacity beyond the current limit of 10,000 units. Simple Energy aims to produce 10,000 to 12,000 scooters by next March.
Between Sep 2025 and May 2026, Simple Energy had attracted about $ 23 M from Dr. Velumani Family Office, Others.For FY25, Simple Energy had reported about INR 41 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 83 Cr in Net loss.
