EAAA Alternatives raises Rs.2,500-Cr through multi-strategy real assets fund

Alternative asset manager EAAA Alternatives has raised over INR 2,500 crore through the final close of its multi-strategy real assets fund, Infrastructure and Real Assets Fund. The fund is structured as a Category II Alternative Investment Fund (AIF), with a base corpus of INR 1,000 crore and a green shoe option of INR 1,500 crore.The fund will be deployed across diversified real asset segments including energy, transport, warehousing, and structured transactions like private infrastructure investment trusts (InvITs). The fund is anticipated to make between seven and ten investments over a deployment period of three to four years, targeting a gross Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 18-20%.As of September end, EAAA Alternatives' real assets business managed seven active funds and one infrastructure investment trust, with aggregate assets under management of approximately INR 22,000 crore.
