Early-stage focused Atomic Capital closes Rs.400-Cr maiden fund
Mumbai-based early- and growth-stage-focused venture capital firm Atomic Capital has announced the final close of its maiden fund at INR 400 crore to back pre-Series-A and Series-A startups.Atomic Capital aims to back 10-12 startups under this fund. The average first cheque size will be around INR 10-30 crore, with the rest of the amount to be invested during the follow-on rounds.The new fund will focus on areas including food & beverages, nutraceuticals, personal care & beauty, jewellery, apparel & footwear, pet care, travel & accessories, electronics accessories, home furnishings, logistics, financial services, e-commerce SaaS, omnichannel infrastructure and manufacturing.Founded in 2024 by Apoorv Gautam, Atomic Capital has made four investments and deployed a total of INR 50 crore in the past 12 months.
