Early-stage VC firm z21 Ventures makes first close at $20-M for $40-M second fund

Early-stage venture capital firm z21 Ventures has raised USD 20 million at the first close of its USD 40 million second fund, with participation from WestBridge Capital as the anchor investor.Founded in 2022 by IIT Kharagpur alumni, Raj Singh, Abhinav Shashank, Jyotika Gupta and Sudarshan Ravi Jha, z21 Ventures will focus on investing at the pre-seed and seed stages of funding in the segments of artificial intelligence, enterprise software, and healthcare.The VC firm's first fund was USD 5 million in size and has been fully deployed across 26 startups.
