Edelweiss PE sells Sapphire Foods shares worth Rs.281-Cr, registers 3.4x return

Edelweiss Private Equity has sold shares INR 281.15 crore of publicly listed QSR operator Sapphire Foods Ltd on Jul 26, 2022 through bulk deals. Post the sale, the investor would hold a 1.73% stake via Edelweiss Crossover Opportunities Fund SII in the company.

In Dec 2018, Edelweiss Private Equity had invested INR 183 crore in Sapphire Foods Ltd. Subsequently it invested more.
