Edelweiss unit EAAA India raises Rs.4,500-Cr for maiden private credit fund

Mumbai-based EAAA India Alternatives has raised INR 4,500 crore (USD 150 million) for its first private credit fund. The fund saw participation from large family offices and wealthy individuals. The fund will invest in high-yield debt across industries, for acquisition financing and corporate recapitalisation.EAAA is the alternative asset management arm of Edelweiss Financial Services with an AUM of INR 62,970 crore. It operates in sectors including credit, real estate credit, special situations, infrastructure yield and commercial real estate.
