Edtech co. in K-12 schools space Uolo raises $7-M led by Australia’s Five Sigma
Gurugram-based Uolo has raised USD 7 million (around INR 63 crore) in a funding round led by Australian VC firm Five Sigma. Existing investors Blume Ventures, Morphosis, and Alicorn also participated in this funding round.Founded in 2020 by Pallav Pandey, Uolo partners with schools to provide textbooks in subjects including English, maths, computer science, and general knowledge, alongside a home-practice application for students.
Between Oct 2014 and Oct 2022, Uolo had attracted about USD 29 M from Blume Ventures, Morphosis Venture Capital, Winter Capital, Omidyar Network, Purvi Capital and others.
