Edtech Co. Newton school raises Rs.25-Cr from Prateek Boob
Bangalore-based edtech startup Newton School has raised INR 25 crore in an extended Series B round from Prateek Boob, co-founder of PhysicsWallah. Post transaction, the company is to be valued at INR 1,055 crore and Prateek Boob will hold 2.37% stake.Founded in 2019, Newton School functions as a neo-university, offering industry-led technical education programs with a focus on hands-on learning and job-ready skills .
Between Sep-18 and Apr-22, Newton School had attracted about USD 31 M from Nexus Venture Partners, RTP Global, Steadview Capital, Others.For FY24, Newton School had reported about INR 24 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 50 Cr in Net Loss.
