Edtech firm byteXL raises $5.9 M Series A led by Kalaari Capital
byteXL, a Hyderabad-based edtech platform focused on engineering college students, has raised USD 5.9 million in a Series A funding round led by Kalaari Capital with participation from the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation.Founded in 2020 by Karun Tadepalli and Sricharan Tadepalli, byteXL prepares engineers for IT careers through a hybrid learning platform and a guided campus recruitment model.The startup aims to utilise the new funds to expand its team, develop new products, introduce advanced digital tools and technologies, and expand outreach to colleges and universities nationwide.
In Sep 2021, byteXL raised USD 200,000 from Joseph Joy, president of Joy Family Investments and others.
