Edtech firm Creative Galileo raises $2.5-M led by Kalaari Capital
Mumbai-based Creative Galileo, an education technology startup, has raised USD 2.5 million for scaling up business, product development and hiring. The funding round was led by Kalaari Capital (which invested USD 2.1 million) and angel investors Harish Bahl, Shashin Shah, Jinesh Patel, Atul Nishar, Ashwin Puri and Giridhar Malpani. The new funds raised will be used for creating new content and partnerships with animation houses. Kalaari Capital's investment was routed through “CXXOâ€, the firm's initiative to promote female founders in India's startup ecosystem. Creative Galileo's ‘Kids Early Learning App' was launched to make learning accessible especially for the early learning segment which represents an under-penetrated and under-invested sector.
