Edtech platform PhysicsWallah raises $210-M led by Hornbill Capital at $2.8 B valuation
Noida-based edtech unicorn PhysicsWallah has raised USD 210 million in a Series B funding round led by investment firm Hornbill Capital with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and existing investors, WestBridge Capital and GSV Ventures, at a post-money valuation of USD 2.8 Billion. The new funding will be used for acquisitions, enter the K-12 education segment, enhance content and publication offerings.
In Jun 2022, PhysicsWallah had raised USD 100 million in its maiden funding round led by WestBridge Capital and GSV Ventures.For FY23, PhysicsWallah had reported about INR 779.29 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 8.88 Cr in PAT.
