Edtech startup Classplus gets $35-M more in Series C with Tiger Global as lead
Noida-based edtech startup Classplus has raised a total of USD 65 million in its Series C round led by Tiger Global. GSV Ventures. Existing investors Alpha Wave Incubation, Blume Ventures and RTP Global also participated in the round. The company, which has now raised a total of about USD 90 million, will use the fresh funds to build more products for the educator community, expand its engineering team and grow its footprint in international markets. Classplus is a mobile-first platform that enables educators to take their institutes online.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: Earlier in June, Classplus had raised about USD 30 million from GSV Ventures, Blume Ventures, RTP Global and Falcon Edge Capital in the Series C round.
