Edtech startup SP Robotics raises $3-M from Mount Judi Fund, BCCL, others

Chennai-based edtech startup SP Robotic Works has raised USD 3 million in its Series A round of funding led by Mount Judi India Growth Fund. BCCL and its existing investors Indian Angel Network including angel investors such as Ajai Chowdhry, Raman Roy and others have also participated. SP Robotics will use the funds to expand its user base and expand its product portfolio. The startup provides robotic education to school students for the age bracket of 7 to 17 under the brand ‘Kidobotikz'. The company claims to deliver its courses through omnichannel smart classes which are present in over 75 locations across 27 cities in India. With this round, the total investment in SP Robotics now stands at USD 4 million across its seed, pre-Series A and Series A round with angel networks such as The Chennai Angels, Native Angel Network and Malabar Angel Network on its cap table.
