Edtech startup upGrad in talks to raise $400-M at $4-B valuation

Temasek-backed edtech startup upGrad is in talks with global PE and VC investors to raise USD 400 million at a valuation of USD 4 billion, marking a five-fold jump in the valuation of the Mumbai-based startup from the last fund-raise round earlier this year. upGrad is also planning to close two significant acquisitions, in the next few months, including a global short-form course player and another in the executive education space.
