Edtech unicorn Physics Wallah attracts Rs.230-Cr led by WestBridge Capital
Noida-headquartered edtech startup Physics Wallah has attracted INR 200-230 crore (USD 22-26 million) more in a secondary funding led by existing investor WestBridge Capital. The deal values the firm at USD 3.7 Billion, up from USD 2.8 Billion six months ago.Physics Wallah, founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari, aims to democratize education through online, offline and hybrid platforms. Initially launched in 2014, it now reaches students through its YouTube channels in multiple languages.
