Eight Roads-backed PlasmaGen Biosciences raises Rs.150-Cr
Bangalore-based PlasmaGen Biosciences has raised INR 150 crore in an equity round, led by ViNS Bioproducts (which acquired a minority stake) with participation from existing investors, pharma companies and family offices.Founded in 2010 by Vinod Nahar, PlasmaGen Biosciences is a biopharmaceutical company specializing in plasma-derived therapeutics which it distributes to private and state hospitals in India. The fresh funds will be used by the company for international business expansion by identifying distribution partners in export markets, and to strengthen its presence with its current portfolio in India.
Between Jul-17 and Dec-23, PlasmaGen had attracted about USD 52.11M from Eight Roads Ventures, Ashish Kacholia, Others.For FY25, Plasma Gen had reported about INR 157.53 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 97.09 Cr in Net Loss.
