Electric 2-wheeler maker BGauss raises Rs.161-Cr from BVF
Pune-based electric two-wheeler maker BGauss has raised INR 161 crore from Bharat Ventures Fund (BVF). The funding round, which includes a mix of primary and secondary capital, will be used to expand the company’s presence in India and overseas.The firm also plans to allocate the funds towards capital expenditure, and for enhancing inhouse research & development (R&D) for upcoming product launches.BGauss, with 13 manufacturing facilities, claims to have sales in more than 85 countries, with 25,000 touch points.
In Apr 22, BGauss had raised INR 52 crore from a group of investors led by Darshan Patel, founder, Vini Cosmetics.
