Electric bike maker iGoWise Mobility raises Rs 8.2 Cr
Bengaluru-based iGoWise Mobility has raised INR 8.2 crore from SB Angels, 888VC, Guptaji VC and others.Founded in 2020 by Sravan Kumar Appana (CEO) and Suresh Babu Salla, iGo claims to make electric vehicles by blending car-like safety with two-wheeler efficiency through Narrow-Tilting-Trike (NTT) technology, combining the agility of a motorcycle and the stability of a three-wheeler.The fresh funding will be used by the company to accelerate tooling and automation to reduce production costs, enhance customer experience and after-sales support, drive further R&D efforts, and strengthen working capital. The company also plans to expand operations in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Panjim, deploying its first 1,500 electric trikes in partnership with fleet operators including Hala Mobility and Elektric Express over the next 12-18 months.
