Electronics contract manufacturer VVDN Tech raises Rs.250-Cr more from Motilal Oswal
The Private Equity investment arm of the Motilal Oswal group (MO Alternate Investment Advisors or MO Alts) has made a fresh investment of INR 250 crore (about USD 30 million) in Gurugram-based electronics contract manufacturer VVDN Technologies, following two earlier investments in the company. The company plans to use the funds for expansion of its manufacturing capacity and development labs. In April, Mo Alts had invested INR 350 crore (USD 42 million) through its fourth PE fund. Prior to that, it had invested INR 250 crore in VVDN through its third fund in December 2019. VVDN has six manufacturing plants in Haryana making more than a dozen products such as hearables, IoT-devices, laptops, and dashcams. VVDN employs over 10,000 and has a sales footprint across the US, Europe, Japan, Korea and India, with 13 design and delivery centres globally.
