Elevate Education raises Rs.170-Cr from WestBridge Capital

Gurugram-based Elevate Education (formerly Sunstone) has raised INR 170 crore in a Series D funding round from WestBridge Capital.Founded by Ashish Munjal, Ankur Jain and Piyush Nangru, the company partners with colleges and universities to provide undergraduate and postgraduate programs. These programs integrate technology, placement support, and student success services. The firm claims to support over 25,000 active students across 22 campuses in 15 cities.The company plans to use the new funds to enhance its technology and AI capabilities, expand its network of partner institutions and improve student outcomes.
Between Nov 2011 and Dec 2022, Sunstone had attracted about USD 72.61 million from WestBridge, Konark Capital, Alteria Capital, Saama Capital, Work10m, Prime Venture Partners, Purvi Capital, Omnia Investments and others.For FY25, Sunstone had reported about INR 69.03 crore in Operating Income and about INR 38.60 crore in Net Loss.
