Email platform Titan raises $30-M from WordPress parent Automattic
Mumbai-based Titan, a professional email startup founded by serial entrepreneur Bhavin Turakhia, has raised USD 30 million from US-based Automattic, the parent company of WordPress.com, valuing it at USD 300 million. This is the first external funding round for Titan. The strategic investment from Automattic will help Titan to leverage WordPress.com's huge global network. Any user who signs up on WordPress.com will get to use the email solutions from Titan as a bundled offering.
