Energy storage solutions provider Clean Electric raises $6-M led by Info Edge, Pi Ventures

Clean Electric , a Pune-based startup in energy storage solutions, has raised INR 48.5 crore in its second round of investment in the last 20 months.In the new round of funding, Info Edge and Pi Ventures have emerged as the co-leaders of the Series A with investments of INR 14.16 crore each, while existing investor Kalaari Capital has pumped INR 14 crore. Panjak Chaddah, Amit Kumar, Rama Advisors and Lok Capital collectively chipped in INR 6.18 crore.Clean Electric was incorporated in 2016 by Akash Gupta and Abhinav Roy. It designs and manufactures advanced liquid-cooled battery packs for two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and also offers battery-swapping services, and energy storage infrastructure.The new funds raised would be used for working capital requirements, expansion, and capital expenditure.
