Energy-efficient fan maker Atomberg raises funding from actor Deepika Padukone
Navi Mumbai-headquartered Atomberg Technologies, an energy-efficient and smart fans maker, has received funding from Ka Enterprises – actor Deepika Padukone's Family Office - as part of their Series B funding. The company has raised INR 160 crore till date from A91 partners, IDFC Parampara and Survam Partners, the family office of Suman Kant Munjal Group. Atomberg's fans are helping Indian households save up to 65% electricity and about INR 1500-2000 per year/fan, by consuming just 28W power at full speed. Atomberg has established its distribution network across 120 cities and also has over 400 service centers pan India. The firm claims to have reached a revenue run rate of INR 300 crore.
