Mumbai-based Brahma AI has raised USD 150-M in a preferred share issuance led by private equity firm Multiples. The transaction values the company at USD 2-B post-money.Founded by British-Indian entrepreneur Prabhu Narasimhan, Brahma operates as an AI-native operating system for enterprise audiovisual content. The company was formed by integrating technology and teams from DNEG, Prime Focus Technologies, and Metaphysic. It plans to use the new funds to support its global expansion, including investments in research and development, its technology platform, and sales capabilities.The company is developing a platform designed to support multiple AI models and is preparing to launch interactive digital human applications across sectors such as media, entertainment, sports, healthcare, and advertising. It is also building tools for security, authenticity, and content provenance, such as identifying the origin of content and establishing ownership rights. The company has partnerships with Google and Hakuhodo.

For FY25, Brahma AI had reported about INR 240 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 214 Cr in Net Loss.
