Enterprise automation enabler Ema AI raises $77-M led by Creaegis

Bengaluru- and San Francisco, CA (USA)-based Ema AI has raised USD 77 million in a Series B funding round led by Creaegis. The transaction included participation from existing investors Accel India, S32, Prosus Ventures, Hitachi Ventures and Wipro Ventures.Founded in 2023 by Surojit Chatterjee, Ema develops AI employees for functions including human resources, information technology, and finance. The firm intends to use the capital to expand its go-to-market operations, increase adoption among large enterprises, and scale its AI employee platform across more business functions.Ema previously raised USD 25 million in a funding round in March 2024, which featured backing from Accel, S32, Prosus Ventures, Wipro Ventures, Venture Highway, AME Cloud Ventures, Frontier Ventures, Maum Group, and Firebolt Ventures.
