Equipment leasing co Origa raises Rs.30-Cr from Credence Family Office
Mumbai-based equipment leasing and asset life cycle management company Origa Leasing (Origa Lease Finance Pvt Ltd) has raised INR 30 crore in a fresh funding round from Credence Family Office, via a mix of debt and equity. Some of Origa's early-stage investors exited as part of the latest round. Origa plans to use the primary capital to expand the operations beyond India. Founded in 2013 by Shrirang Tambe, the Origa platform provides equipment lifecycle solutions, including lending to micro, small and medium enterprises.
From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Jan-2019, Origa Leasing had raised about USD 3 M from Elevar Equity. Angel investors in Origa include members of Keiretsu Forum Mumbai and ah!
