Equirus invests Rs.100-Cr to merge family office biz with Credence Family Office

Bengaluru-headquartered Credence Family Office is to merge with Mumbai-headquartered Equirus Wealth’s Family Office business with the latter investing INR 100 crore. The combined business will be branded as Equirus-Credence Family Office.The transaction also facilitated the exit of TIW Private Equity, which had invested in Credence Family Office for six years.The transaction enables Credence Family Office to leverage Equirus’ platform capabilities across investment banking, debt capital markets, research, and fund management.

In Aug 2019, TIW Private Equity had picked up a majority stake in Credence Family Office.
