ESG risk mgmt platform GreenFi raises $2-M led by Transition VC
Singapore- and Kerala-based GreenFi , an ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) risk management platform, has raised USD 2 million (INR 17.7 crore) in a seed funding round led by Transition VC, with participation from angel investors.Founded in 2023 by Barun Chandran, GreenFi offers a platform that assists financial institutions and corporates in identifying, monitoring, and managing ESG risks, opportunities, and compliance obligations. The platform aggregates ESG-related data from various sources, including annual reports, corporate disclosures, alternative datasets, and media coverage, into a unified interface.The new funds will be used to scale the company's global distribution network, enhance its AI product capabilities, and expand operations across California, Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
