EV battery maker Flowatt raises Rs.2.2 Cr led by PedalStart
Bengaluru-based Flowatt Battery Science , an electric vehicle battery-focused startup, has raised INR 2.2 crore (USD 249,000) in its maiden pre-seed funding round led by accelerator PedalStart. Co-founded by Siddhartha Srivastava, Bikesh Jha, and Vikash Singh, Flowatt Battery Science focuses on developing electric batteries. Currently managing nearly 1,500 batteries across multiple cities, Flowatt Battery Science aims to deploy over 20,000 batteries under its Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. The company intends to achieve INR 2.5 crore in monthly recurring revenue and expand its presence to over 15 cities by the financial year 2026-27.The startup plans to use the new funds to enhance its technology, complete the proof-of-concept for its advanced electric batteries, and build strategic partnerships with insurers, EV financiers, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and logistics stakeholders.
In Mar 2025, Flowatt Battery Science had raised pre-seed funding from ah! Ventures Fund.
