EV startup Blinq Mobility raises Rs.4.3 Cr led by 8i Ventures

Gurugram-based electric vehicle (EV) startup Blinq Mobility has raised INR 4.3 crore in a pre-seed funding round led by 8i Ventures. The round also saw participation from IIMA Ventures, AIC Banasthali Vidyapith, Pharos Ventures, Operators Studio, and angel investors Neil Shroff, Arun Kumar Mahala, Sarita Ahlawat and others.Founded in 2024 by Nikesh Bisht, Ankit Kumar, Abhilasha Marmat, Sushmita Patil and Yashdeep Singh, Blinq Mobility is developing electric vehicles (EVs) for high-usage city transport. It also plans to offer batteries through a subscription model.The new funds will be used for product development, vehicle engineering, battery systems, swapping stations, and pilot programs with ride-hailing partners.The company is incubated at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI) and receives support from AIC Banasthali, FIIRE Goa, and the Deshpande Foundation.
