EV truck operator GreenLine raises $20-M from Nikhil Kamath
Mumbai-headquartered GreenLine Mobility Solutions Ltd , an Essar Group venture that operates liquefied natural gas (LNG) and electric-powered heavy commercial trucks, has raised USD 20 million from Nikhil Kamath.The firm plans to invest USD 275 million to accelerate the decarbonisation of heavy trucking in India. This includes enabling the deployment of over 10,000 LNG and EV trucks, besides setting up a nationwide network of 100 LNG refuelling stations, EV charging stations, and battery swapping facilities, aimed at reducing 1 million tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
