Everstone to acquire bootstrapped SaaS co. Wingify for $300-M
Private Equity firm Everstone is to acquire a majority stake in Delhi-based bootstrapped software-as-a-service Wingify for about USD 300 million.Cofounded by Paras Chopra, Wingify has grown from a two-person startup in 2010 into a profitable global software provider with over 6,000 clients. Its flagship product, Visual Website Optimizer (VWO), helps businesses improve their online conversion rates through A/B testing and customer experience optimization. Chopra, who owned 71% of Wingify before the acquisition, will retain a minority stake in the firm.
