Ex-BharatPe CBO Pratekk Agarwaal launches VC fund; looks to raise Rs.50-Cr
Former BharatPe chief business officer (CBO) Pratekk Agarwaal has launched GrowthCap Ventures, a category II alternative investment fund (AIF), to invest in 12-15 startups over the next two years. He is looking to raise INR 50 crore for the fund to make these early stage bets. Mumbai-based GrowthCap Ventures will look at seed to pre-Series A rounds, with a focus on fintech, SaaS and deeptech. The fund will invest USD 250,000 to USD 750,000 in each startup.
