Ex-Paisabazaar CEO Naveen Kukreja in talks to raise $9-M for wealth-tech venture

Former Paisabazaar chief executive officer (CEO) Naveen Kukreja is in talks with investors to close an initial institutional funding round of $9-M for his new, currently stealth-mode wealth-tech venture. The transaction is expected to include participation from two venture funds, alongside a personal capital infusion from Kukreja. Singapore-based Jungle Ventures is reported to be in consideration as a potential investor.The new company aims to develop a wealth management platform tailored for retail investors. The firm intends to use the capital to secure necessary distribution licenses and build a technological infrastructure that allows investors to generate scores based on their investments. The platform will also provide investment advisory and distribution services.Kukreja previously led the credit marketplace Paisabazaar for over a decade before stepping down from his position in March 2025.
