Excitel's Vivek Raina, five others set up incubator for J&K startups
Vivek Raina, co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of home-internet startup ?Excitel ?Broadband has launched “Launchpad Kashmir”, an incubation fund to nurture the startup ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir.Besides Raina, Khalid Wani (Senior Director, Western Digital), Namrata Kaul (Director, Vivirti Capital), Kunal Harisinghani (FlapKap), Ishfaq Mir (co-founder of Kashmir Box), and Dawood Khan (Principal Engineer, Thndr) helped set up the new fund.Launchpad Kashmir will aim to incubate 24 startups in FY25, with each startup receiving an average investment of INR 20 lakh to INR 25 lakh.
