Exfinity partially exits cybersecurity startup CloudSEK; clocks 13x return

Venture capital firm Exfinity Venture Partners has reported a partial exit from Bengaluru-based cybersecurity startup CloudSEK , achieving a 13X multiple on invested capital (MOIC) and a 40% internal rate of return (IRR). This partial exit occurred in January, with Exfinity selling a portion of its stake to an existing investor in CloudSEK. Exfinity retains a significant stake in the company and maintains its board seat.Founded in 2015 by Rahul Sasi, CloudSEK helps businesses monitor systems and predict cyber threats using an AI-powered tech stack. The company identifies initial attack vectors, such as leaked credentials and exposed APIs.

Between Oct 2018 and Jan 2026, CloudSEK had attracted about USD 41.7 M from Connecticut Innovations, Inflexor Ventures, MassMutual Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, StartupXseed Ventures, Exfinity Fund, IDFC Parampara Capital, Omidyar Network, and others.For FY25, CloudSEK had reported about INR 73 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6.40 Cr in Net Loss.
