Eyecare chain Centre for Sight attracts $100-M from ChrysCapital; Mahindra Partners exits
ChrysCapital is to invest USD 100 million in New Delhi-based eyecare chain Centre for Sight in return for a significant minority stake. As part of the transaction, ChrysCapital will purchase the entire stake held by Mahindra Holdings.Founded in 1996 by Dr. Mahipal S. Sachdev, Center for Sight has a strong presence particularly in North India, and claims to treat more than 1.5 million patients annually.
