Eyewear retailer Lenskart invests in deep-tech XR startup AjnaLens
Gurugram-headquartered, IPO-bound omnichannel eyewear firm LensKart has invested in Mumbai-based AjnaLens to develop AI-powered smart glasses.Founded in 2014 by Pankaj Raut, Abhijit Patil, and Abhishek Tomar, AjnaLens provides hardware and software solutions using extended reality (XR) technology. It uses XR to provide learning solutions and claims to cater to defence firms and enterprises across sectors.
In Jan 2020, AjnaLens had attracted about USD 1 M from Maharashtra Defence and Aerospace Venture Fund and others.For FY24, AjnaLens had reported about INR 16 Cr in Operating Income and about INR 6 Cr in Net Loss.
