Eyewear seller EyeMyEye raises $2.5 M from Ashish Kacholia, RBA Finance, others
Gurugram-based eyewear platform EyeMyEye has raised INR 20.8 crore (about USD 2.5 million) in a new tranche as part of its pre-series A round. The company has been valued at around INR 162 crore (USD 20 million) post-money.EyeMyEye will issue 14,44,847 pre-Series A CCPS (compulsorily convertible preference shares) at INR 143.96 each to raise INR 20.8 crore. RBA Finance & Investments and Ashish Ramesh Kacholia pumped in INR 10 crore each while Sachin Shah participated with INR 80 lakh. Following the round, RBA Finance and Ashish Kancholia will hold 6.22% each in the company.Founded in 2021 by Ganesh Iyer, EyeMyEye offers a range of customised eyeglasses, sunglasses, and other eyewear-related products to consumers through its online and offline channels.It has raised around INR 90 crore (USD 11 million) to date including a USD 5 million round led by LC Nueva AIF in August 2022.
