Fairfax Holdings sells addl IIFL Finance shares worth Rs.181-Cr, registers 1.63x return

Fairfax Holdings has sold a 1.52% stake in publicly-listed IIFL Finance Ltd. The sale, on Dec 8, 2021 through a bulk deal on the NSE, aggregates to INR 180.61 crore. Post sale, Fairfax would hold a 25.07% stake in the company.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Dec 2015, Fairfax Holdings invested INR 1341 Cr for 21.85% stake at INR 195 per share. Subsequently it invested more into the company.
