Fairfax Holdings sells IIFL Finance shares worth Rs.365 Cr, registers 1.57x return

Fairfax Holdings sold a 3.21% stake in publicly listed IIFL Finance Ltd. on Dec 1, 2021 through a bulk deal on BSE. The sale aggregates to INR 365 crore. Post the latest sale, the investor would hold a 26.59% stake in the NBFC.

From the Venture Intelligence PE-VC Deal Database: In Dec 2015, Fairfax Holdings invested INR 1,341 cr for 21.85% stake at INR 195 per share in IIFL Finance. Subsequently it invested more into the company.
